HARIO has been designing and producing high-quality heatproof glass in Japan for over 100 years. Founded in 1921, the company pioneered heatproof glass manufacturing in Japan and remains the only manufacturer with a heatproof glass factory in the country. Originally producing laboratory glassware, HARIO expanded into coffee siphons in 1948, utilizing its heatproof glass and advanced processing techniques.

Over the years, HARIO diversified its offerings to include a wide range of popular home products, from coffee and tea accessories to microwave-safe cookware and kitchenware. Since the 1980s, the company has also been producing industrial glass for automotive light lenses.
