SKEEM - Frank Lloyd Wright Matchbox, Waterlillies

This rigid matchbox features artwork adapted from Waterlilies, a design attributed to Frank Lloyd Wright and believed to have been created in 1895 for an art glass screen that was never produced. Inspired by the still ponds of the Midwest, the pattern reflects Wright's early exploration of nature rendered through geometry. Translated here into an everyday object, the design brings his philosophy of organic architecture and the harmony between the natural world and the built environment into daily ritual.
